Some of the edges are no longer perfectly straight which does affect the closure. It will close but needs a little manipulation to line the edges up. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eQuite a scarce tin and very lovely!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis item is old and not new~ there are age related blemishes and imperfections.
