A very special little antique timber box featuring the profile of a young boy to the lid
Most likely from the Victorian era
Ebonised timber, hinged lid and a brass clasp closure
Measurements are 11cm long x 11cm wide x 6cm high
Base and lid are possibly a leather layer~ however it is difficult to be sure
Some wear, scuffs, marks and patina throughout. The lid closes fine but isn’t perfectly aligned
A lovely box made with a lot of care a long time ago
This item is antique and not new~ there are age related blemishes and imperfections. Please study the photos closely to determine condition prior to purchase
